Can I motivationally (if that’s even a word) vent for just a second? Can I open my heart to you and pour it out? Can I talk about all the things I want to express my opinion about in a brand new category called “Thoughts”? Well, since this is my blog, I believe I can!
I don’t know about you, but there are plenty of times in my life where I found myself wondering why people do the things they do. Why do I do the things I do and if I am wrong or if my reactions are ‘too much’ sometimes. I find myself wondering if I’m worth it or if my dreams are big enough or maybe they are just too big. Maybe I need to be a bit more realistic if I want to make it to this world.
But, then, again why do I have to change who I am and not change the situation I am in?
Do I have big dreams? Yes, I do. These are the dreams that shaped who I am, that move me every single day, motivate me to do better. I work every single day for them and you should too.
You don’t have to worry if other people are agreeing to your dreams, if they like who you are and who you are not. You are not here to make everyone else happy except yourself. Who you are as a person should be your priority, what do you want to do, the dreams you want to achieve, the parts of the awesome personality you’re aiming to have. That’s what you should be working on.
I love people who feel empowered, who wake up every single day ready to take over the world with their mind and soul. These are the people I want to be around of, they inspire me, those kind of people are my very own superheroes – the people who love themselves deeply, who know their potential and are not afraid to chase their dreams. It’s the kind of person I want to become, I guess, and I believe I’m in the right path.
Often when I am feeling down or when I feel like I don’t know what I’m doing and the plan I have for my life is not going exactly as I want it, I put on a playlist on Youtube. Not any playlist, my very own playlist which includes long videos of powerful voices telling their story, motivating you, pushing you to do your very best, holding you back from giving up. People with vision who are not self centered and who want to see you achieve something as well.
In that playlist, in those videos the voice of my superheroes echoing loud and clear and they all tell me one thing, “Don’t let them change you and do whatever feels right”.
And for that I have to thank my superheroes, because without them I would never feel as empowered as I am now.
