Best Looks From Ready-to-Wear / Autumn 2021

This fall everything in fashion is VERY promising.

After carefully watching every fashion show from Ready-to-wear Autumn 2021 collections I’m positive that this fall is most certainly going to be very interesting to see, especially in street style.

The designers from every brand and fashion house set the pace for how fashion is going to be and what rules are going to be followed on how we dress. I must say that ready-to-wear collections are always something I look forward to see because I get to feel the fashion vibe a few months ahead, me and every fashion enthusiast out there knows what types of clothes we expect to see hanging from the hangers of well-known brands worldwide.

Layers and layers and layers and layers. In every fashion show I’ve seen so far there were plenty of layers on an outfit, whether the outfit consisted of a dress or from a pair of pants and sweater, we saw many layers that were quite daring and eye-catching. To be honest, creating the perfect outfit while using the craft of layering is very challenging. You have to put together a complex outfit and make it work for the rest of the world and yourself and trust me, it’s not easy.

However, houses such as Dior, Givency, Louis Vuitton managed to master the craft of layering and make it their very own while not missing their identity as a brand in the fashion world.

Another thing that you’ve got to (and I do) love about the ready-to-wear collections is the fact that all of them present a very fast forward version of a typical outfit you would wear in your daily life while out on the streets. A woman who wants to just go to work, but also be very beautifully dressed would just put on something timeless, like a pair of black trousers and a colorful shirt matched with a pair of heels, but thanks to ready-to-wear collections she can get inspired and create something much more fashionable and prominent for herself. She can be a street style queen by choosing to get inspired by outfits put together from Valentino or choose an already well put together outfit for herself by the people who know how to do it.

Additionally, there is another thing that clothing industry is doing proudly and that is dress every single type of woman. Back in the days, fashion houses used to dress only extremely thin women with barely an inch of healthy fat on them. Curvier women found it really hard to find a good quality and high fashion clothing piece without feeling judged about their size. Women should be able to find any clothing piece they want without having to worry about if the brand they love is going to have it. But, now fashion is disregarding sizes all together. Nowadays, size does not matter and all female body types are acceptable. Plus, with the appearance of Billie Elish and her belief that art is what matters and not the size and look of her body, fashion also started using oversized clothes on all women, included size 0 people. Multiple models hide their tiny waist under piles of clothes and I am happy that you don’t have to care about whether your waist is tiny or thick, you just have to care about whether you look fashion-ready or not.

Earthly tones. Their color pallets are very basic, which is a good thing because they really ‘speak’ to people and I believe that this type of collections really want to focus on ‘dressing up’ every man and woman out there. They give us something to think and gawk about . It’s the type of collections we use as inspiration when we want to make an appearance at the office no one will forget. Most people choose earthy, neutral tones that fit them and also create a very harmonizing vibe. Color is important to communicate your emotions any time and any day. In this time with so many negativity around us that is so intense a more calming outfit can work wonders from a psychology prospect.

Below you will see some of the looks I chose for this piece. Personally, I found many outfits that I just adored and truly inspired me to try layering up, but I decided to only choose 3 key looks from the following collections: Louis Vuitton, Valentino, Dior, Givenchy, Chloe, Chanel.

Enjoy!

Fashion can always find a way to impress us and ignite our imagination plus our inspiration at the same time. Truly, each season gets better than the last and it’s comfortable to know that in this time of need the designers out there are being the guardian angels of inspiration and creativity.

Dare to try out new things! Dare to dress yourself in amazing outfits that you normally wouldn’t wear, the result will be to find out a different part of yourself you had no idea existed.
