And that’s a wrap for Milan Fashion Week my beautiful fashion creatures.

The world of fashion has pointed its spotlight once again in Milan, one of the capitals of fashion. The past week was one of the most important ones for those who love watching catwalks, who appreciate fashion and who were ready to see what the designers have cooked up once again for their audience.

I’ve decided, once again, to share with you my favorite looks from the past week. I carefully watched each show and I was so thankful that with everything that’s been going on with covid and since Italy was one of the first countries to really be hurt economically from the virus, nothing stopped in the sense of fashion week and that everything turned digital.

We are moving forward technologically and the fact that so many shows allowed people to watch them online is a huge deal for our time. It’s technologically and fashionably revolutionary. Fashion is leading us to an entirely new century where technology is able to help us enjoy events without having to be there and without risking our lives. Of course, nothing beats the real-life thing. Being physically there is a whole other experience, but the world is not ready for that with the pandemic just yet.

This fashion week was simply amazing. Each outfit emitted power and confidence, this Spring women all around the globe will honor their suits. Like Barney Stinson from HIMYM, they will suit up and will show up to shake grounds. The fact designers take a normal piece, like the suit, and elevate it in such way is truly remarkable. This way we all see how far creativity can take you and how interesting the world of design can be.

I can’t show you all my favorite looks, because then this article will go on for a while and I don’t want to bore you. However, with a little glimpse on the runways I believe you too will find a million other looks that will settle in your heart.

One thing that is really evident is the fact that each designer took the classic women’s suit and turned it around in shapes and ways that we could and couldn’t imagine. Oversized, cropped, as a dress – this coming season suits will have the whole fashion world to rule.

Suits are a powerful clothing piece if chosen and designed correctly. They can so beautifully be transformed from the classic design we all have in our minds, with the square shoulder and double buttons, to something much more elegant or edgy. Take your pick.

Subtle colors and women of power, that’s the idea of this season according to the designs and runways. Women lead and the ready-to-wear Spring 2022 fashion is here, not only to prove it, but to also help them show it off through their outfits.
